Working at HSD

Hochschule Düsseldorf – University of Applied Sciences is a practice-oriented, international university in the heart of the state capital Düsseldorf. With its 187 professors, 387 adjunct lecturers as well as 585 staff members and more than 11,340 students (as of June 2021), HSD is one of the largest universities of applied sciences in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Its seven faculties offer a comprehensive and sophisticated range of 43 study programmes. We are a competent research and development partner for international cooperation and maintain a diverse network of companies and institutions.
 
Career options at HSD are just as diverse as our curriculum and research portfolio. As a professor, you play a key role in shaping practice-based teaching at HSD and take on tasks in university self-government. We are also looking for research assistants for support in research and teaching and for adjunct lecturers to link practice and theory.

There are various career opportunities in university administration and central facilities such as the University Library or the Campus IT. In addition, HSD offers a range of commercial and technical vocational training options.
